Our Mission Begins

Golden Flights is proud to launch as Nevada's newest nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of Golden Eagles and other raptors. Based in Henderson, NV, we're committed to making a real difference for these magnificent birds.

The Golden Eagle Crisis

Nevada's Golden Eagles are facing unprecedented challenges. Between 2014 and 2024, studies have shown that 70% of tracked eagles died, with lead poisoning and electrocution being the leading causes. This alarming statistic highlights the urgent need for organizations like Golden Flights.

What We Do

Our core mission focuses on three key areas:

Rescue

When injured or orphaned raptors are found, time is critical. We work with wildlife agencies and the community to ensure these birds receive immediate care.

Rehabilitate

Using proven techniques and working with experienced veterinarians, we provide the medical care and rehabilitation needed to prepare birds for life in the wild.

Educate

We believe that education is key to long-term conservation success. Through community programs and outreach, we're helping Nevadans understand and protect our native raptors.
